Your Basic Guide on How to squat for beginners.

When it comes to your lower body, no single exercise is going to do more for transforming the shape of you body than the squat. The squat is another one of those ‘functional exercises’ that not only improves the look of your body, but also its function. When performed correctly the squat engages the muscles of the legs and glutes, leading to shapely legs and a firmer behind (Who doesn’t want a firmer behind?!)

The best thing about squats is that you can perform them just about anywhere. In the lounge-room, in the kitchen, the bathroom, the office or even out in the playground on a walk.
