Keto Seed Crackers

The Ketogenic lifestyle is what I like to call ‘socially friendly’ – though you can overeat, you can keep your body in ketosis during social events. It’s all about learning to make the right choices.

One thing that is difficult when the meat and cheese platter comes out is avoiding the crackers. That’s where these delicious high fat low carb crackers come in. Not only are they super tasty, they are also super easy to make!


1 cup flax seeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup pumkin kernals

1 cup water

1 tsp maple syrup

1/2 tsp pink salt

1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)


Mix flax seeds, chia seeds and water in a large mixing bowl and leave to soak for 20 minutes.

Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees celsius

Line a large baking tray with baking paper

Mix remaining ingredients with the chia and flax seed mix

Spread mixture onto lined baking tray, pressing down well

Bake in the oven for roughly 45 minutes (Each oven will vary) Remove tray from oven and attempt to ‘break’ a chunk off… if it bends, simply return to the oven and continue to check every 15 minutes until the crackers appear to ‘snap’ when handled

Once cooled you may break the crackers into your desired size

Crackers may be served immediately or can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
